this site started off as more site focosing on security and hacking but has slowly evolved into more of a [cryptography and other] thing. reading the old posts i cant beleive there was a post called a hackers view and asked what a person considered a hacker!! i think the main thing that caused this cryptography evolution had so much to do with user submission. the only bad thing about the user submission approach is most of the useres here find it relatively hard or out of the norm for them to make an exploit/cracking or even javascript challange. but anybody can encrypt a message with there own algorythm.

so i propose as an attempt to save this site and boost productivity of exploit/cracking/javascript challanges you pick a select few of volunteers who would wish to become devs ore developers. developers would be governd and moderated by tbs and erik. but the main mission of devs would be to put the "hackit" back in this site by working together to develop concepts and code and design challanges.

if anyone thinks this is a good idea please reply saying if you would like to implement this system but make some changes ........ maybe we could get tbs or erik to write this off with a green check mark

Yes, I agree, I have been dying to see some new javascript challenges for a while. I also believe that there are too many user-made crpyots, but I'm not complaining, it's good to learn different methods. I would also like to see more exploits. I have gotten more used to them and as I was exposed around them, I kinda got the hang of them. Well, yea, we need more javascript/exploits.

I just submitted a new js-challenge, it's called "i like md5"... i think you can imagine what it's about...

Also other programming challs will be good, and science too.

I submitted a programming challenge a while ago, but I think Erik is pretty busy atm with other stuff, and uploading programming challs takes a lot of work I think

Yep, I submitted a special challenge quite a long ago too and when I asked Erik if he had seen it and thought to publish it he aswered Yea, I'll have a look...
so I think I'll have to wait long cause he probably is quite busy now...
