I've got another idea.
Why not make a page or a section where all the challenges move to when they are deleted because they are impossible to solve, too farfetched or just plain stupid. This history page will allow you to solve the challenges on it, but you don't get any points for it when you solve it. Also the forums with it could be used to explain how the challenge worked, and why it was discarted. I think such a page will be great for all the people which like to submit challenges on their own... With such a page it's easier to know what's too farfetched and what mistakes NOT to make....

Next idea that come's with it, why not make a voting system where ONLY people who solved that challenge can vote if it was good or just stupid. I say this because I came across challenges that in my eyes didn't use any logic... If more than x ppl voted and the polls show a number less than x maybe the challenge is better off in the history section I discribed above... This way the ever growing number of challenges will be reduced and there will be place to add new challenges which are (maybe) better...

Also I submit this idea because I read about other deleted challenges (like wild wild west) and I just wonder what they looked like.

About the vote, I think the people who solved a challenge can give it a mark from 1 to 10, and the challenge should be removed if the average is less than 5

That was what I was aiming for... But you have to make sure that a certain number of people solve it, otherwise a challenge could be discarted after 3 users solve it.... Another problem that will obstruct this idea is that some members are so needy and greedy of their points that they certainly never ever will cast a low vote on a stupid challenge just because the idea of losing a precious point will hurt them deeply... *sigh* some people forget this is only a game or a place to learn...
ps: I wasn't targeting anybody with the needy-and-greedy part... just noticing...
