no they do not show pictures of any death since it is pretty much tasteless to show any of it . they even refrain from showing any iraqi pows.....
censored i supposed in good taste but then again i wouldn;t want to see someone i knew slumped over dead....

We get some US news services abc/cnn here in Aus late at night and what I've seen is full of spin and propaganda. I'd recommend checking out the BBC World Service where possible.

yeah i heard it all. ignorant american..... we do it all for the oil.... everything else.....

some countries sit there and watch while other countries go out and do....

i am not turning this into a political board nor do i even want to discuss the resons for and against the war .....

I personally wish we left iraq and the rest of the world alone ... pull out all our troops so they can be home with the people who care about them and let the rest of the world deal with there own mess.......

We're actually one of the "doers" as well regrettably.
Although that kind of makes my point.

well I will be sure to see what the bbc says but we really do not have a media thats partial to one side so its hard for us to get propaganda especially with the internet and all..... plus not to mention reporters are out with the infantry i really do not see how we could be all blind sided and only think one way.....

But to be honest I am all for the war . weapons of mass destruction are no joke . one liter and it could reak havok on everyone.....

If you think like everyone else that we depend on our oil form them you should read up and see we get over 50 percent from venzuala and about 25 percent from other sources so the mid east only accounts for only 25% of our oil consumption.....

It is a hard enough war already considering the tactics those barbarians use ... surrender then kill our troops .... execute american and british forces instead of holding them as POWS.....

I guess there really is no wrong or right in war but I think we should be there taking care of business since the un could only sit back and watch.. same way the league of nations fell was due to the lack of accepting a threat... Hitler maybe wouldn;t of taken so many lives if everyone took a good hard look at things...

actually i just went back t reread a post and the dead iraqui civilians you can pin on saddam .... if you look at the real deal its the iraquis are putting women and children in and around known military installments to try and deter attacks..... also even on buildings they have the words written human shields on top of them on banners..........

Iraqi soilders are now dressing as civilians to try and kill american troops...

So you can blame casualties on saddam,,.... keep in mind this war would be over already if the us or the international community did not take civilian casualties into thought....

peace i am out for tonight

You blame them on Saddam becuase thats what your news networks tell you. Reporters riding with the troops are biased by the very fact they are with them. All submissions from these reporters and scrutinised and censored by military guidelines before being put to air. Most Americans weren't even shown the footage of the interviews with the American POWs. I don't support either side, but to witness such blindfolding of American citizens is a very sad thing.
