Ok my situation is this. I received a Windows XP box with NTFS file system. The problem is those bastards at Microsoft allocated the whole freaking hard disk to themselves. I want to set up a dual-boot with Fedora but I need to reclaim some of my disk but my understanding is that fips wont work for NTFS partitions. Is there a way to break up my partition without destroying it???? I hope so. |

Oi Not sure of all the easier progs out there, but Partition Magic will do it. Either buy it or download some war3zX0r. Cheers, ~BC |

partition magic is a good program! i would also recommend that you convert your windows NTFS partition to FAT32! because NTFS under linux is at the moment read only! with FAT32 you have also right access on your windows files. |
