I spent Monday night solving crypto69 (which was a great challenge, Phas). The very next morning I get a PM from luckyman, begging me for the solution and/or program. I worked hard to get the solution, and I am sure Phas worked hard to create the challenge, so I was not going to give away the answer cheaply. luckyman also gave me the answer to the first part of RHC7 and big hints to the second part, when all I wanted was hints to the first part.

I won't mind so much if I thought that luckyman was learning something, but then he asked me how to do crypto52, even though he had already solved it! I can see a point on trading methods to learn (though I disagree with it), but merely trading solutions without learning anything - that sucks.

Just so everyone knows, I am willing to give hints to challenges (hey, we all need a push in the right direction sometimes), but I will not give solutions, programs or methods (except to those who have already 'solved' it). After unpleasant encounters with clarken and luckyman, I am beginning to dread get PM's. It is starting to ruin what is otherwise one the best challenge sites around (my congratulations to you, Erik and TBS)

I was just going to start a similar thread.

My first PM was which I couldn't believe was serious!! How blatent do you have to be ... ? So I asked some friends which was the most simple of those to solve and was told to look at crypto 43 - Damn Easy by Inferno. A few prods later I managed to solve it so I wrote back to Luckyman to ask him to prove he had those solutions and PM me the answer to Crypto 43.

HE DID!!!!

However after your thread appeared, - this is what he has PM'd me this morning Another one to add to the hall of shame I think ...

Yeah last evening ,he was asking me and MiB as well. I was just wondering,why he has for 80% the same IP as clarken.
It was just funny;clarken left the IRC, luckyman entered in few minutes later.So,he wanted some crackits from me for Phas cryptos.
He said,that he traded a lot with "elcondor",and that theblacksheep is knowing that he is a trader.
So he is thinking that he has the permission for trading from theblacksheep!

there is not much to say, we all know this is the way to get on top @tbs..and tbs is not any longer what is was some time ago..thats sad but true..more and more traders get revelead we notice it and then...nothing. Iam really disappointed that the admins (this is NO Offence) know about this fact, even know many usernames but no further actions against these users are taken.

So please dont wonder if more and more "old, veteran users" (maybe top 10 ?!) delete their accounts and leave tbs...This way The Quality of Knowlegde and Challenge will decrease more and more, again sad but true.

If you look closely at some word, especially "challengers" instead "challenges", you'll note that clarken using the same word - challengers.
btw. I had the PM's of this person, too. Maybe third acount was elcondor (I said was, because it is deleted)
