I opened my tv this morning to watch the News. What i hearded? They arrested 3 crackers (supprised they didn't tell "hackers" instead) in Greece. One in Athens ,one in Thessaloniki and the last one in Crete. They told that these guys were cracking credit card numbers.. But those ppl who have the skills to attack haven't got the skill to deffent? I mean , they shouldn't be caughtable ( as what they were doing was not a "small" crime)... dunno..

be very sceptical of what you hear on the news ...

however:
In this day and age it isn't just smart kids that learnt some tricks with computers,
But also just criminals using a computer to get mo money these are not nescessarily smart ...
try typing "419" into a search engine

It isn't difficult to make some monney off the internet ... just sell a few goods on thinks like "marktplaats.nl"
accept the money, and never deliver and similar...

so when they say "cracker" don't immediatly assume that they were smart enough to be admired
computer crime still is a crime..

you can erase a lot of your tracks online but basicly if you fraud cards and do this bankaccount=bankaccount+100000000
it's lightly somebody is going to notice it .. I would think
not to mention that just as in r/l they probably like to brag about it
