I have a problem with an XP computer. It kept restarting and then we tried to go back to a new restore point. After this all of the files were gone. Is there a way to get these back? If so would u please let me know. Any thing including programs the just get the files back.

i would try GetDataBack available from runtime.org it is designed for this purpose, but you need a place to install it (not on the hard drive u want to recover)
