Not the dust Build up of Baras. But this is what I did for 3 months when ever the outside temp was above 35C as my power supply fan was dead. Below that and the power supply would handle it, even though the CPU was running around 69C from radiant heat generated by the supply etc, but when it got really warm I wacked a bag of ice on the power supply. (There is not really peas/corn in there after they turned to mush but ice... I'd change it as it turned to slush because if it melted fully then I'd be be in trouble) The plastic doesn't melt because the ice keeps it too cold if you put it on as soon as the pc is switched on,. although I later added a slim towel to the mix just in case.. I am being serious. Yes I had the money to fix it, but I'm lazy |

I work at a computer shop, This guy came in spent £2000 on a new machine, athalon 64 dual core, 2 gb ram etc etc, Perspex case, cpu water cooler, with the green neon effect. I'm thinking hes a big computer fan, maybe a gamer etc Ask him why he did it: "I just wanted my kids to see what the inside of a computer worked like" I asked him why he didnt just save his money and take a side of to show them. He just shrugged. Wish i had money to burn like that. Peace |
