Hey guys,

As I worked on the Java applet tutorial, I noticed there were too many things to cover. Therefore I decided to start a blog for it. The blog name is, of course, "quangntenemy teaches Java" ;)

At the moment it is still incomplete, but hopefully it can help beginners start with the basic challenges. More posts in the series will come soon.

You can find the tutorial here: linkhttp://qtjava.blogspot.com

Any questions, comments, suggestions are welcomed :)

Hello quangntenemy.

Nice blog, you explain it very clear but I'm missing one post about "Why should I learn Java?" or at least "Who should learn Java?". Honestly I have the feeling that Java is one of those languages that I can live without them. A few lines about why that language is interesting and for what purposes will solve my questions. I'm not saying that Java is a bad language or things like that, it's only that I'm a programmer and have contact (professional and/or personal) with other programmers and still don't know anyone that use Java for his work.

Phas, the answer is simple: to solve challenges :P
But for those who have lost the will to fight like you maybe we need another test of courage.
Or maybe the time will come when you need to wield the sword once again to fight against the evil spirits of this world :P

I'm also looking forwarding how the next lessons will look like. I can't imagine how to teach "challenge's java" and not just the simple java tutorials you can find everywhere. We had the BFer so far, what's next? :)
