Not possible. ‘ |

you might want to use quotes in that url tag. [ url = " ...url here ..." ] caption [ / url ] about that guy, well, the internet never had a shortage of dumb people... I have several boxes that run 100% m$ free i can assure you it works, perhaps that scares him too much though .. better let him live in his fantasy world. They like the magic of windows, being this big bloated black hat, out of which bunnies appear. They would be to disillusioned when you tell them it's actually a trap door in the table, and you can do just as well with a slick streamlined, wind resistant, transparent pipe. You would loose some of the magic, but you have control, freedom and choice. And no, Linux isn't all good, it certainly has it flaws, windows does some things better, some things worse. |

yes, some things are better on windows, others on linux. I think running an apache server is far better on linux, same might go for other opensource projects, like mysql, (i guess mysql depends heavily under the underlaying file system). On windows there is better driver support for my(ati) gfxcard. Windows seems way easier to install. (on the other hand it pays out to trim your linux, when you dont use gnome or kde or similar you can really make a nice client box) So in summary i go for linux. Happy computing Towley PS: we could open a linux thread, post nice programs, missing applications, or useful comands. |

I corrected my link. Quote: yes, some things are better on windows, others on linux. At whylinuxisbetter.net you get a pretty nice list of advantages of linux - but I guess they are a bit biased. |

in linux news, if you operate any shared systems, you will be wanting to upgrade your kernel to the very very latest, quite a nasty localroot, is public domain right now. |
