there was the idea to split the crypto-challenges into two categories like "world wide cryptos" and "custom cryptos" or so.
I would like to know your opinion, as it would be no problem to split them, it might be a small help for the users solving them and the crypto-list wouldn't be that long

or anything has a Name and can be find in the common Crypto pages

Maybe in the future we need worldwide clusters to break any obsure elliptical cipher algos DD

so if you split it you don't have that confusion anymore

Yeah... good idea. But, as said iloveallison, it's difficult to do that. Only if the worldwide challenges are crypto systems without any challenge...

After alot of thought of this and after reading the replies to this topic and that of "s4dd's" i think that cryptography challenges should be split into different sections i quote that of which rayden5 and s4dd both stated that "it would help to really split them in to kinds basic, and wellknow crypto-systems and then a 2nd division where individual cryptos may be posted" inaddtion to the fact that in overall challenges something such as beta testing is needed to provide support to a certain challenge, frankly not all of the challenges are quite that good and some of them need more elaboration *i know i need such* any way hopefully 'TBS' will go through such a change in the challenge system as a whole and again best of luck.

Yes this would be a great Idea to split the crypto challenges into two different catagories. It is hard to decipher if the crypto's are custom made or if they are based on real world ciphers.
