Hi folks, I was thinkng about learning a little bit about buffer overflows and trying out some examples. I had no idea that it is so freaking hard to get a free Linux Shell. Has maybe someone one to offer? I would just need a little bit space to save my files and to cmpile them with gcc. Really nothing big. Would that be possible? theblacksheep |

http://www.polarhome.com/ It's not totally free, but you have to pay the guys one time 10 in your own currency for a lifetime shell. It has compiler tools, lots of libraries, webtools and a lot of more things. It was completely free once, but they changed it, because it became the favorite place of remote hackers. Well, read the story and policies at the site. I have found it myself after a lot of searching. |

Or you could just download Knoppix and use the Linux Shell on your own computer... -el choaro |
