i never understood stripslash's however, nor did i really do reasearch on it YET! I know of challenges that uses it, so is it normal that it doesn't encrypt text?

Which is the logic behind "crypt" function? Any URL with the info?

Ah, ok. It's a PhP function which can use DES, MD-5, etc... depending on parameters.

someone took out serialize and slash's, i realise now that slash's is pretty much useless, but serialize i cant do it in my head like i can most other encryptions.

I think they both still work.
Can someone confirm that they don't?

It's not that they didn't work, they were missing, everything was gone for a lil bit, the rows, all! It's good to see everything up and running again though
