Hi,

in my opinion bright-shadows.net needs a banner.
But I like the upper left corner the way it is.

The banner should somehow include "bright-shadows.net" and "theblacksheep".
It is not supposed to sound egoistic but I think the "sheep" is the icon of "bright-shadows.net".

I would also prefere a partial friendly, partial dark banner.
A little bit like the one in the upper left corner

But don't be scared of all my wishes
That are just my 2 cent.

Ok, here's my first banner attempt.


The slogan can still be different.. It somehow must include 'challenges'.
So "Where no sheep has been challenged before!" could be possible.
or "The Sheep is challenging you!"
or "The Sheep has landed..."

Also the number of challenges and the categories are yet to be included.

@theblacksheep: No offence, but that thing in the upper left corner is confusing if your domain name says bright-shadows.net.

It's a proven concept that:
domain name + 'firm name' which differs from domain name = trouble.

If I see a webmasters name in big letters as the header of the site, that tells me that the owner may have pride issue's.
Maybe you don't see it this way, but how would it look if it would say "ERIK" in big bold letters in the header?
That wouldn't work, now wouldn't it? But that's just my opinion Please note, I'm not trying to offend you!!
Keeping the sheep as a central theme on the other hand is a very good idea, every site needs a theme.

What's everybody else's opinion about this?

Guess it's time for some votes now

Its got my vote BaRa. I think it looks very good. Only criticism is the Shadows part - I know it is "shadow" but it looks a bit blurry - maybe a bit crisper would be better. But apart from that small detail, I think looks very professional - great job
