hmmmm whats about the good old "Lord of the Rings"? Sure its long, but WHAT a story!

I'd also recommend the "His Dark Materials" trilogy which i just finished....

Both came in the top five of the BBC "Big Read" comp, so they're both fairly decent.

we also thought of "Lord of the Rings" but it's really to much to read at school.
