Hi!
Maybe you did not find all the possible hijacker entries in the registry, there are really many of these in there (Like Explorer, Shell, ....).
There is a very useful tool against hijacking software that is called "cool Websearch Shredder" you can find it at:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
I am pretty sure that this tool will solve your problem!

winlogon.exe is normal on windows xp computers i think, i've seen it on the ones that i use so i dont think its a virus.

no it isnt a virus! but what is it? i would say,that it is a fault from my motherboard! 0_O

im not quite sure what it is, i know that its nothing to do with the hardware, just something required for the computer to start up and run because if ya try to end task, it won't let you do it.
