Maybe you can even find a way to let users who have solved the challenge see the exact logic behind each challenge, so they can also rate the creativity and education values on how accurately they followed the logic procedeures. Like something a lot more straight forward than the Discussion Afterwards forum. I think this would be really nice, anybody agree? |

Quote from Erik: Would it be good if a user would be forwarded to the voting page directly after he solved a challenge? Yes, would be fine... also i would agree to be redirected to "discussion-afterwards" after voting. perhaps it gets used more often in future... and helps to create something for the interesting suggestion above... Perhaps the ability to upload srccodes in some way. |

One idea: To get a "more real" value for the result of a votation we should consider three aspects: - There should be at least 5 values, in case we have less values we can't have a result. - We must discard the highest one and the lowest one. - The result should be the average of the rest of the values. Example: Values: 6, 8, 7 >> Result: None Values: 4, 6, 8, 7, 8 >> Result: 7 |

If the voting system is to be implemented fully, I think that any challenge should also be submitted with a complete 'how to' solution. That way people could rate the 'solution' also. That way anyone who solved it can compare their method with the imagined 'correct' version. I know there are several challenges with multiple 'correct' answers but only one that is accepted by TBS. I know for example that my challenge has two correct ways of solving it, one of which I hadn't seen before submitting it. If enough people vote and say that my challenge is amiguous then I am happy to have it removed. But mine is not the only one that has multiple 'correct' answers and this must be taken into account in the rating system. My 2p bb |

I totally agree with the "how to" thing from bb. A) it makes it more educational it tells the proper way to do it (as intended) C) sometimes you find it by pure luck - and then you can read all about it Cheers relee |

For the HOWTO I already documented most of the challenges I solved : - Crypto, Internet, Logic, Sciences, Stegano & part of the other category, - I think I have no challenges found "by pure luck" (except 1st door of treasure your smiley and Japanese Lesson ), - Sometimes there is the C code of the prog I created to solve the challenge, - I sent some part of these docs to fbracal and moyo and it seems they like it Unfortunatly it's in french . Maybe it could be translated, but : - this is only "my way" of solving these challenges, so this could only be a start base... - it could be very bad for TBS if someone decide to make them public... Erik & TBS I can send it to you by mail if you want... |

Well, I remember most of the challenges I have solved and the method I used to solve them, but there can be multiple ways to solve certain challenges. What I meant by including the logical way to solve was there should be an exact method to find the solution the way in which the creator INTENDED the challenge to be solved. Sometimes the logic isn't seen even after the challenge has been solved. The how to can show you in case of confusion or misunderstanding. Don't you guys agree? |
