Sites like this indeed are all about fun, both for us as for the admins who create and run it. I totaly agree with sfabriz. However, some people do "gag" pn high rankings wich is fine for me. This however comes with problems but doesnt every good thing have a negative side?. Its a shame that people delete their accounts but I also think its their own choice and shoudnt bother with it, this doesnt mean they dont still enyoy the site.

Plus, i dont think rankings should be deleted, its a nice sort of competition wich encourages most people to play honestly and drives them to learn more and solve more challenges. Dont let the few who cheat spoil the fun, just try and see yourself above them.

Finaly thing. I said the rankings where a good thing however the current ranking system can be improved i think. When the ranking would not purely be based on but would also include some percentage of effort the players would have put in the site. An example,when someone writes a tutorial, helps others on the forums or submits a nice challenge, reward this person with points. This stimulates people to contribute to the site and will i think display a better ranking

Wow.....freakin awesome speech sfabriz. It's so true. I mean, I admit, it does piss me off that people cheat, but only because I have learned a lot and I want other people to learn jsut as much as well. It sucks konwing that some people "think" they know how to do something only because it says "Done" on the challenge page, dont you think? I'd rather people know just as much as I do (and maybe a lot more) rather than just to pretend like it. I'm not saying I know a lot, I'm just trying to say I believe people have the chance at equal educations and it pisses me off that some people take advantage of it.

I know I've been bugging Erik a lot lately: "Science Challenge" "Science Challenge Again" "Small Correction" and such. Sorry about that Erik. Just got kinda eager to see how many people can solve a challenge made by myself, that's all. So far, I don't think anyone has taken the time to. Oh well, that's fine. I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to learn something valueable rather than all the recent "I give you this, make sense of it" kind of challs that have posted. Well, thx for all your work on the site. IMHO, it's the best.

So guys, sfabriz is right. We need to stop complaining about ranking system and people cheating and such. If they'd rather deprive themselves of a new skill than to learn a new valueable one, then so be it. Ranking is just for fun anyway. Just a friendly competition, right?

I am planning some real business, some security help section is planned at least.
I´d really like to just admin this site together with erik and tbs, without doing some chall for my personal stats.
I would do some major, invisible changes, to prevent laming. Perhaps we gonna change the domain and keep it secret as well. (editThe changes would be in the userright and challange system in php engine.

I know(edit:now) will again read all the posts here, to understand you a little bit more.
