I don't think you need worry, among us, we can pool together enough knowledge to get the rules for chess right but you could always assume the role of QA (quality assurance ) |

I'm really sorry, but until february I got a lot of projects (most of them at school) so I can't do anything here. (I didn't know this as I proposed to make the project leader) So if you can't wait that long, another person has to make the leader |

The easiest way to do a project in a team is to do some unified processing whilst choosing for an object oriented design. First do some brainstorming and define a scope of the project. Then make decisions so you can draw some borders in the scope. From there you can create a domain model and define the use cases of the main functionalities of the application in a use case model. After this you can write out the details of the use cases step by step. From there you can build some kind of sequence diagrams which will be quite useful when you start to model the design model. The use of patterns will guarantee a non-spaghetti like project, but without it you can create a perfectly working application none the less. After working out these schematics and definitions of every part of the project you can let every member of the team work on their own piece of code and the end result will still fit together nicely. I've done numerous projects using these methods and they worked out like a charm every single time. My best, BaRa |

there are usually many task in software development that don't require rigorous knowledge of computing - testing - design - documentation - (pr) there all pretty pointless though, if there is no software to work around though you could draw up a sweet set of chess pieces if you are handy with some graphical tools. |

I'm kind of disappointed that this project suddenly stopped, I was looking forward to playing chess. |
