goofybasterd offered to trade me for several answers. I accepted (my bad...I only wanted hints.) After I gave him several answers he gave me one answer, one hint that was already in the forums, and an "I can't remember..." I noticed that after I gave goofybastard the answers he never solved them. But iloveallison solved them all the next day. Check it. goofybastard only knows answers that iloveallison knows. God only knows how many aliases iloveallison has and how many solutions he has gotten from dirty trades. You are a loser dude |

Here's my2cents. Sometimes, asking for answers ain't really as bad as you think. Take for example, in HackQuest (i'm flamecruiser there), a crypto challenge called "Visual Crypto++", similar to one of TBS's crypto challenges. I got the answer through a PM, without learning how to do it. That guy said he had forgotten how to solve it. What can I do? Just solve it first, then slowly figure out how to do so. 3 days later, I found out how to actually solve it. It's all based on your attitude. If you decide to learn after you complete the challenge, I feel that it's perfectly alright. If you decide that you don't want to learn anything, or you are confident of learning from the answer, there's no point agruing or pointing fingers either. P.S.: allison pmed me a few hours ago, asking for a hint for a special challenge, not the answer. |

Yeah I get your point. But the fact is that allison is one of the top rated riddlers on this page. But he has gotten his rank from trading answers. Maybe a leopard can change its spots. But I doubt it. |

come to think of it, goofybastard asked me for answers too. he said he'd trade 2 for 1, but when i asked him for a show of good faith i never heard back from him. kinda funny. i'd be happy to have someone give me a quick run down on newtonian physics or to say that the answers I seek are in Caesum's tutorial (which rocks!), and i would gladly offer the same in kind. but skirting around with an alias, and not following through is lame man. so goofybastard doesn't have a reputation to tarnish, but tapping everyone for hints/answers and then not answering back is just not kosher. btw, i'm not saying that iloveallison=goofybastard, but it was quite suspicious that goofybastard seemed like an intelligent person but had a very low score. |

i´m personally not solving challenges here only to get a good place at the ranking list, i like it to see the encoded messages or to see the password right in front of me, using one i got through trading wouldn´t be the same. that´s boring. and it won´t be possible to become first with trading or cheating, so who cares ) Cagliostro |

Hiya, well i think this is a common trading game on all Challenge Sites I cant remember all guys who offered me Answers for other answers (i have to admit there 2 Challenges which did NOT solve myslef.) But for all these "trading answers guys" they wont reach high ranks because the top players are all honest..and one day the need to ask top players to get answers, and they WONT trade them believe me. I myself trade alot of HINTS with Ceasum or Hive but we never trade ANSWERS..and what can a player who didnt solve a single challenge offer as a hint ? He even dont know where to start the challenges *g* So dont worry too much about them ray |

kids kids, often i have wondered why dont we have a better help section for people who dont understand? I mean, you cant learn without help or some base knowledge. I know the full answer is going to far, but usually it will help alot more than trying for days. But w/e, i dont care, i do try mine. Sometimes with help from others. But not too much. |
