You can just uninstall SP2 (add/remove applications in the configuration panel...). Microsoft knowing there should be a lot of problem allow the deletion of the SP2... I did it on several computers and it works fine |

Hi, thx for the tip. But when I try to remove it it tells me that "Service Pack 2 could not find the specified file". Cu, Erik |

Try directly : c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe For Outlook, there is something in the knowledge base of Microsoft : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=843018 |

I'll try this uninstall-stuff. But for the emails: The problem is that I can't download them; the extra window for send-receive-status even doesn't appear at all. I can push send/receive as often as I want and nothing happens. |

I have had big problems with SP2 with the combination of it plus Norton personal firewall 2003. Uninstalled the firewall, everything fine. The probelms that it gave me were these one: Impossible to get the property window for any directory in explorer and very annoying lack of time when the application bar was showing up at startup. But now works properly so unfortunately I can't help you. Regards, sfabriz |

I didn't notice anything weird. Neither on my TRS80 nor on my Apple II. |
