hey what's going on on this site?
I've been here for more than a year by now and lately all the forum threads I read are about making changes on this site.
Everywhere there are people with the "best" idea and I can read everywhere "Hey I had an idea, it would be fine if you could... bla bla".
This site has changed a lot (expecially the graphic part) since I went here the first time and I ask myself if this was necessary.
One year ago there were forum threads about challenges, people asking where to find informations and where to get tools to solve a challenge, but now it seems we're going to be in challenge to play on the most beautiful, technological, advanced, performance site ever and maybe we don't realized that this site has already all these things.
It's only my opinion obviously, but I can imagine poor Erik and Tbs fixing bugs and coding all day long to make us vote a challenge to know if it is difficult, when it's very easy to know it simply looking at how many people solved it.
First javascript is easy, the last 2 are not. I didn't have a look to the voting system to know it.
What I know is that I'm waiting for a challenge to be published since the end of august and there are other guys who would like their challenges to be published.
Maybe because for me the beautiness of this thing is to solve challenges and not to play on the oscar prize site that this site is going to become, also because there will always be people with ideas on how to change things, and I believe it's impossible to listen and please everybody...
I repeat, this is just my opinion, and I don't think that it's a matter of being right or wrong, I don't care about that, I do care about the challenges, which are and will ever be the only reason for I come on this site to play...
so... don't you think it's time to stop this "hey we could change this and that..." and start again with "hey man, I wanna learn how to solve those BaRa's stegos cause I'm crap in solving stegos..."
I think so...
