Hi, you know, some time ago I finally disabled the challenge-stats (who solved a certain challenge) for every user that didn't solve the challenge himself. Meanwhile I don't think it's so nice and I did it mainly because everyone was just having trouble about cheating and so on. I would just like to know your opinion about it. Cu, Erik |

Maybe it would be more interesting to see just the first 3 players who solved each chall, except for the author, and ordered by the day/time they solved it. |

I find it very interesting to know, who is good in what, the idea from pjsk8 is very good in my opinion. You would kill 2 birds with one stone. PS: it was Phas´ idea of course, sorry for that |

Wouldn't everybody wait until 3 people solved the challenge then? I mean, there are few out there who doesn't enter solutions just because of them pm's |

I would be one of the 1st and everybody could read: what a smart ass i am ... Then I would more often laugh about lammerz, thinking i would reveal a hint, that they dont need to think anymore. and yes... the 4th could wait. |

Quite honestly, I certainly like the way it is right now. When people really wanna know, who has solved it - then take the freaking pain and walk the user stats - the user statistics still show you, which user has solved which challenge. The information is still available - not not available TOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo............ easy - for the traders & hint beggers. Just my 2 (euro) cents |

Relee raises an interesting point on identifying traders. What is the standard of proof? If the active members all know someone is trading - what do we need to do to demonstrate it to the admins? And what will happen if we do? Quote: "The users of bright-shadows have put great affords into creating that variety of challenges. Trading challenge solutions with other user would just be unfair. That's why we are going to delete user that trade solutions without warning!" is the message on the front page of the site but yet Erik says on one hand Quote: "I "investigated" this issue and I found out that clarken you did indeed massive trading of solutions with different users. " yet on the other handQuote: "I have to think about what to do with such users." Can I respectfully ask for a clarification on what the official TBS policy is? Do you want help from the users to identify traders? bb |

If i want i can tell you some ppl who are for sure traders too. Many of them are at least in the top 50 and above. But the idea with a hall-of-shame is in my opinion the best way to handle that. The fact, that no one will be in there in that list, may lower down the trading. But caused on the anonymity in the internet it is impossible to avoid the thing called "cheating" or "trading" fully. Just live with those ppl, maybe at them to the hall-of-shame, but don't make such a mess about them, some of them maybe like it if it is talked about them even if it is in a bad context. |
