Question 1: What is your definition for the word reverse? Question 2: What does really hard md5 hash mean? Question 3: What is HyBhM6 and what does it have to do with MD5? |

sorry didn't make it very clear. i was useing HyGG67 etc as an example, like on tbs pocket knife you put that in and press the md5 button and it gives you the string of md5 that equals it. well i needed to know where i could get a something that would reverse the string, so when i put the md5 in it gives me the HyGG67. http://reverse.me.uk is a good one for finding actual words. But i need one that just reverses the md5 string therefore being able to read the word that has been encypted Int3rface |

Hi, That may be what you are looking for: http://www.md5lookup.com Never found it that useful, but if the database grows enough... Cheers, H4rlock |

I don't see any relation between "reverse" and what "http://reverse.me.uk/"does. That site doesn't reverse anything, it just calculates the MD5 hash of a string of chars. You should learn some things about hashes. A hash is (by definition) not reversable. You are not able to get the "original string" that generated a given hash, but sometimes you can get a string (the original one? ) that gives the same MD5 hash by doing a brute force attack. There are some sites with databases of MD5 hashes, that can help you to find your hash, but it'll only be there if someone entered it before. So, what you are looking for is a website with a big collection of hashes but it doesn't mean you will find the text for your hash. If it helps you can see the stats of one of those databases: MD5. You can imagine that having some millions of known hashes is nothing compared to the 170141183460469231731687303715884105728 possibilities. |

it is only possible if this word is in a dictionary ;p and you should give the hint that it is hashed more than once |
