hiya people,i 'm in need of your opinions and helpfull hints,i have age of empires 2,instaled on win xp-sp2.
how i can make it workable?need any fix,or need to mess in bits and bytes.any helpfull site or direction.
oh,and does it 100% affects sp2 or it can also be playable on it.

I have Ages of Empires II on my desktop downstairs, it works fine but unlike you i dont have sp2, just xp sp1, without doing anything to it exept a clean install, i dont see how THAT can make it not workable, but maybe there's some info on google. Il check it out if you'd like.

it beated hell out of me,i can't make it executabled,i tried even putting new/old updates for graphic,motherboard,bios flash,etc. but nothing.
please if you can,i lost my sense.
just tell me if it's playable with xp-sp1,without any modifications-
this is what it gives me out:Age of emp. II has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for inconvineance.
and debug,close button.

Yup! i just whent downstairs and SP1 works fine i didn't get a patch for it or anything. If you are uterly out of idea's, maybe you should change to SP1 and try it then?

I have Age II on XP with sp2, it works fine. Try going to www.microsoft.com/games/pc/age2.aspx and download the update they have there. You might also want to check for any windows updates at microsoft.com.

if that doesnt work right click on it and go to properties, then find the button that says rung game in os and pick a dif os, hope that helps.
