Hello all, I've got a problem with my avatar but can't understand why?!? I can view it with all graphic programs and browser, but sometimes it is like totally disappeard. Here the image properties: Location: http://occasus.altervista.org/avatar.jpg Width: 100px Height: 88px Size of File: 2.51 KB (2567 bytes) Alternate text: The image “http://occasus.altervista.org/avatar.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. Anyone of you got some thoughts? Thanks a lot in advance. |

Hi occasus, There's nothing wrong with the file. My guess: What IS wrong is that altervista.org doesn't support external linkage of hosted pictures. The picture will only load if you visit the picture directly at http://occasus.altervista.org/avatar.jpg. After you've done that, the file will be in your cache and that's the reason why it 'sometimes' shows up and why it sometimes appears blank. The reason WHY it is blank is because altervista.org serves you with a blank file called void.jpg when they detect you didn't visit their site directly. Solution to this all, choose a different host.
