Ok, lately i have been playing on an online game and it got boring and i downloaded a hack for it, since then i joined forums which have hacks for this game and there seem to of been a lot of people who know how to make hacks for games and a load of other cool stuff. I liked the idea of being able to create the hacks so i thought i would try and learn how to hack. I got hold of a bunch of hack programmes including ollydbg, tsearch, cheat engine, and about 9 more. I become familiar with these apart from ollydbg because i did not understand it at all, i figured out how to search for values and make a trainer for games but i need a bypass. Somebody told me i could use ollydbg as a bypass. All in all i would eventually like to learn how to use ollydbg and complete some of the crackit challenges but to be honest i do not have a clue how to solve the first one. I have absolutely no knowledge of how to use ollydbg and figured this would be a good place to start, so could anybody give me a little advice where to start and possibly walk me through the first crackit challenge please. Thanks in advance. |

first of all you have to learn assembly ! you cannot avoid it, it's essential ! this takes quite a lot of time since lowlevel programming is not that easy and you have to get used to it. when you have some basic knowledge about how your CPU works you can start to get familiar with progs like Olly, etc. And then you can go ahead and confront the crackmes, still a lot of work to do ! so google for tutorials, you'll find more than enough out there and be sure you have a lot of time and patience ! good luck! |

your CPU only understands assembly-code. When you write a program in C++/Delphi/C whatever you need a compiler which translates you high-language code into assembly-code so that your processor is able to understand your program. Of course you can write your program in assembly, that's no problem and that's what you are about to learn.... i can send you a some pretty good basic tutorials via email if you want |

I'm not a cracking master but I do know some basics and if I'm not mistaken you're processor only understands binary and assembly is the closest you can get to immediatly giving assingments to you're processor(or something like that(A)) btw on www.net-force.nl there's a tutorial wich gives a walktrough trough the third cracking challenge, it's in the library. |
