1. Given string is base64 encoded. Use eg http://www.opinionatedgeek.com/dotnet/tools/base64decode/ to get decoded data 2. You will receive binary data. Take a look at it, it's JFIF string in the beginning, so just turn the file to file.jpg There is an animated joke in the picture with url to http://xkcd.com/583/ where are some more. Are you sure this site is a serious one? Or maybe I just overlooked something, but it looks like a joke to me... EDIT: Ah, it seems it was a heedless reaction from me. Probably it requires to register from us to see some real challs, am I right? ![]() |

Recieved confirmation a hr or so ago that my solution was correct. You are right about the first part, i went into more complicated things comparing the original comic to the encrypted one, but there is something simpler that needs to be done...ignore the comic and go with what else you see. |

Next part looks easy again. Just look at the picture at left top corner. You have some dots there -> some of them are 0's and others 1's. For example first letter is: 01000011 -> 67 -> C ..but there are quite a lot of them, and somehow I am not interested to decode whole message ![]() Good luck anyway |

yea its a fun little challenge all in all. after you get the binary you convert to ascii then shift it until it makes sence, follow the instructions then you continue to the last part...which seemed alot harder than it actually was. Im awaiting then next challenge they do, it made work alot more fun ![]() |
