Hello this is because the applet has to open socket connections. Some of these operations seem to be deactivated/prohibited by default. It is possible to change this in the java-configuration. At the moment I can't tell you what to do exactly, but I remember that there is some file named java.security or so. bye, Erik |

I think you'll need to get someone to sign the applet, and then have their certificate availible so then users can import it in the Java controlpanel, under Certificates (tab), Signed Applet (Radio), Import - but you'll need to compile it with your certificate (signed by yourself, if you like), and share the (as Java says) the .csr or .p12 file. Other unsigned applets still work as they do not try to use sockets. And while you're at it, bring the scrollbar about 15 px to the left... its off the edge here. |
