i have got a very big problem,i think i have got a fucking virus!
always,when i reboot my computer i am seeing much fault-messages! alsways something like ,winlogon.exe!!
is my motherboard broken?
i have scanned my computer for viruses with norton anti virus 2k4 and in DOS with :
dir ctfmon.dll /a /s
dir shimgapi.dll /a /s
dir intrenat.exe /a /s
there i cant find anything! everything is clean for Doomjuice ,Mydoom.B,Mydoom.A!!!
i have downloaded the update for windows xp and nothing works! i thing my motherboard is broken,isnt it?
i hope you can help me fast!!!

......Sounds to me like you have a problem. I wish I could help you out there, but I kinda have to see it for myself. Your motherboard is probably just messing up. I would say excessive use, but then again, I do have to see it. But that does sound like the problem. Well, good luck with that........at least you dont have aids.........do you?

Hi CyBeR,

a virus can "normally" not harm any hardware (there are some exceptions - like positioning your read/write heads from your floppy drive to an illegal address). But most viruses today don't f..k about hardware anymore. And so far I have not heard, that a Virus will harm a motherboard.

* First things first: clean your Internet Cache & Cookies. Set your default location within the control panel from your Internet to BLANK - and Apply those changes.

* Secondly: launch a command prompt and run the "RegEdit" program. Change to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun. Ensure, that all the programs which are listed in this section are valid programs and intended to be launched at boot time. BUT !!! and that is important - since I don't know your Operating System - do not erase the keys without making a copy of the content - let's say to a Text File (you might need those start-up programs at a later time again).

* Thirdly: Look into your Programs -> Start-Up Folder and check if there are any program's in there, which you don't want automatically loaded.


Get yourself the latest update from your virus scanning software PLUS get a free copy from LavaSoft's Ad-Aware 6.0 - one of the possible downloads are from: http://sz.tripod.cl/lava/aaw6181.exe

Before you let the LavaSoft Ad-Aware scann your box, tell it to download the latest signatures & updates file from the web.

The LavaSoft will help you to get control over your system again - it looks for all keyloggers & dialers & ad-ware which might be sitting in your system.

Donwload Spybot Search & Destroy.
I find it much better, but it's possible some prorgams don't work anymore when you erase the 'bad' things... So be carefull.

i have had many bad files on my computer but not viruses!
no are all deleted!
but can someone here help me why my fucking browser doesnt work?
always when i make my startsite (www.google.de) nothing works!
i always get a fucking site for itself! i never was on that site but it always appears!

You can also check the msconfig entries (both programs and services) and manually in your regedit keys.

you should also know that some spyware - addware - hijackers need three or more scanning from add-aware and reboot to be completely deleted !
