does anyone here use aim? if so did you hear anything about this aim virus thing that changes your info to some porn site link...and if someone clicks it they get it...i think it started fre my brother downloading something....um anyways if anyone knows any way to remove it please let me know

Yea I heard about that. I know there was one that popped up right about Christmas time, and was hidden in your profile. Those rat bastards. That pissed me off. Everyone thought that I put it there on purpose, but then everybody began noticing that they had it too. Yea, to say the least, that was one hell of a weekend.

they seem to work by editing infested persons AIM profile (wich is just a html file stashed away in application data)
they post a link in yur profile leading you to there page that infects you through active x controls (so you'd have to click yes on the active x confirmation box (i cant beleive i did this so many times !!!!) )
