Theres a difference between users that have solved at least 50 challenges and not signed on in a while and those users who signed on one time and haven't even solved one yet. Just saying Bazing |

I agree with Bazing that deactivation of some one who has solved a reasonable number of challenges is different to an account that has never solved a problem....I work full-time, teach karate part-time and most importantly am a mother of an active toddler therefore my "play" time is significantly less than before. I only get on here to browse the forum infrequently....and once or twice a year I'll have a go at another problem or two. I find the number of 0 and 1 solvers annoying when looking at ranking and so on, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter much. |

Well it is nice to know how many people are "somewhat in" the community. Although, there aren't 9 thousand something people active in the community. But, I was getting at the people who have zero solved and never come back. It really doesn't matter to me what we do it was just a suggestion. |

I agree with Unstable in deactivating rank of certain users. However, there has to be some kind of cap on that. It wouldn't be fair to disable the rank of the top user because he hasn't solved anything in three months. But if you maybe made the cap something like 50 or 60, it makes so that the people lower in the community have something to push them to do more challenges. That way they don't just fade off. I think that would alleviate some of the possible clutter in the rankings as well. |
