funny how the main point escapes some of the people here. if you remember correctly, a member of the site tried to steal rhican's session using an exploit on this site. that's where the whole flaming argument began. therefore, all those that are currently flaming about the fact that said user was already exploiting the hole rhican made public (and who knows how lng this exploitation went on for) are ok with having their credentials stolen. furthermore, if the javascript were used to replace the user's login page, their (or your) password could also have been compromised - or changed. (imagine all your hard work... ...gone) so, flaming aside, rhican might have been wrong in publishing the exploit on the forum boards, but wouldn't it have been worse if he had said nothing - or, for that matter used the exploit himself? what he did made fixing the exploit a matter of urgency. and as a bonus, it also alerted users of the "real villains".

now, DROP IT. be the bigger person (if you feel that you are indeed the bigger person) and leave it be.

Thanks for clarifying, but I'm afraid your argument is logically flawed (for several reasons, but in part because the condition stated is, for practical purposes, necessary and sufficient).

Seriously though, you have little to gain by challenging the suggested diagnosis and a lot to gain by trying to understand why it was suggested.

As far as the Nazi thing goes: You were never called a Nazi. My relatives were gassed by the Nazis, and I think I'd know if that's what I called you. You are smart enough to understand this. But hey, repeating lies about your (perceived) enemies is something you really do share with totalitarian regimes (the similarity doesn't go much further - totalitarians are able to usurp power and influence people). In any case, I am not your enemy, Rhican. I am your friend. You should really try to understand the difference.

I don't get the purpose of this thread. Is it to filter the hostilities against you on other threads, rhican? Because obviously a thread like this isn't going to solve any of this. All you do is keeping the fire awake and throwing some oil on the fire when you can. (Maybe throwing oil on the fire is not a english expression, I don't know, but in his/our language it is )
Unless of course you use this thread as you intended, leaving it to those who "need to vent some frustration". Sure you can come back here to throw you a bone ones in a while, but let's stress the 'while' in "ones in a while" so all gets the time to come and stay to good.
