I was thinking since some of the challenge catagorys tend to have a large amount of challenges. It would be good to have more then one way to sort the ranking list. One based on a round overall score in all areas and one by most challenges solved. That way one would beable to see who is most balanced in terms of all the areas versus just one. This could be achived by adding up all the percentages and dividing by total percents or somethings.. just was an idea |

Quote from Goat: That way one would beable to see who is most balanced in terms of all the areas versus just one. Well, the total score DOES show you who is balanced in the areas......to a certain extent. I get what you're saying, and I guess that would be ok, but not better. It would be more of a fun-fact type thing, dont you think? BTW, the way to do this would be to add up the total percentages of a user and divide them by how many types of chall there are total. Therefore: Balance percentage= total % / 10 (I think, as I am going on memory and am too lazy to actaully check ) Not a bad idea, but current ranking system works. I dont know if they still have that problem where if people are tied, the most recent scoring person ranks higher problem , but that was the only thing I thought could have been changed. |
