hell no.... just not many people know about it... perhaps advertise more get some of ur freinds to join.

I dont have any real world friends that are interested in (or would have the capability/patience to complete) the challenges

so get none real world friends lol

Okay, I think advertise your friends is the best thing to do, but me I've already advertised all my friend and the problem is they are not very interested about Challenges...

I think that it's the case for most of people in here. Challengers are very rare.
I know many people who like computers but really few are really passionate in computer science. For most of them it's just a spare time and for the others it just gives them a job... Very few have the geek spirit (for not saying hacker spirit) which I think is necessary for registring on a site like bright-shadows.
After all why are we here ? Maybe not only for the challenges themselves but also to meet people that we don't have the opportunity to know in the real life cause of their rarity.
It's the way I see the challenges and the challengers

It even never will be my job
but for the geek/hacker spirit, that's someting I want to reach, I'm sure there are plenty of other things we can solve then, but it require training and this site is excellent.
To bad I'm just a newbie and I got to have much courage to begin in the world of challenges, you all know for sure it's not easy when you just started

i used to do this site alot, but when i moved i was off the internet for like 6 months and im finding it hard to come back with all the new challenges they are great but its finding the time to do them. The science ones i give to my teacher im sure its not cheating if they explain it and let (by that i mean make) me do it with them.
