Hi community...
I thought to start a new topic about "special" numbers... I will start with the number seventeen. In very many countries the number 17 is seen as a bad number, which brings misfortune. Why?
A possibility is that if you write the number 17 in the ancient Roman number system it is written like this: XVII and if you take it is an anagram you can figure out this: VIXI, which in Latin means "I have lived", moreover this equals that now I am dead! Not a good thing.
If you find this topic interesting, obviously don't hesitate to explain others with your own words ;)

See you all

Hihi. Very interesting topic!

The number "4" is unlucky to the Chinese, because when said in Chinese or Cantonese, it has similar pronunciation to the word "dead". The number "8", however, is considered auspicious because it sounds like the word, "fa", which means to become rich.
