I am logged on as administrator (only account - guest is turned off) and it says taskmanager (via Ctrl+Alt+Del) that it has been disabled by my administrator :/. Is there a way to get it back on ?? |

Don't know if you still need help, but it sounds like a simple policy setting. Here's how you change it. run the next: gpedit.msc (this is the group policy editor that comes with windows) - User configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Ctrl+Alt+Del Options Then pick this policy: Remove Task Manager and set it to Disabled (or Not Configured). Hope that helped, Greetz BaRa |

perhaps you can get it via the policy editor, or if you have any antispyware/adaware installed it might have disabled it. |

NOTE: As I can recall gpedit.msc doesn't come with the Home edition. If you got it (home), you'll have to change it in the register. HKEY_CURRENT_USER Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System Name: DisableTaskMgr Type: REG_DWORD Value: 1=Enable this key, that is DISABLE TaskManager Value: 0=Disable this key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager BaRa |
