On the occasion of wikipedias 2,000,000st article I like to post some information:

These are the best knowen wikis (and those with the best / most information and community)
linkEN-Wiki: 2,001,607 articles
linkDE-Wiki: 0,636,354 articles
linkFR-Wiki: 0,555,167 articles

but there are other wiki-projects:
linkWikiBooks: Wikibooks aims to build a collection of free e-book resources, including textbooks, language courses, manuals, and annotated public domain books. It aims to help both (self-)instruction of students, and teachers in high-schools and universities.
linkWiktionary: multilingual dictionary with definitions, etymologies, pronunciations, sample quotations, synonyms, antonyms and translations
linkWikiNews: The name says it all

The most interesting one for you guys will be wikibooks, because of these articles (I just saw them, I don't know anything about the quality, but I'll read the german ones):
English:
linkCryptography
linkReverse_Engineering
linkJavascript - I think selfhtml will be better...
linkFlash_Basics
linkApplets
linkPhysics: Movement - perhaps for science 9?
linkProgramming languages

German:
linkCryptography
linkApplets
linkC++
linkphysics

the article/book on reverse engineering is pretty decent,

there a few things that aren't as fleshed out as they could be.

For example packed executables is only touched on very lightly, and you sometimes have to read between the lines a bit.

For example the book mentions a lot of tools, but not a single pe-file identifier. like PEID is mentioned.

and it doesn't mention other advanced things for example on how to recognise c++ class virtual tables and other structures.

But all in all it's a must read, if you just can't seem to get any of the non trivial challenges. You can even skip all the linux stuff
for that ;-)
