I think that we should be able to edit our post up until the time that someone gives a subsequent post. If I write something down and then 2 seconds later change my mind, I can't change my post as well. I don't think that we should be able to edit it after someone else has posted, or else it will throw off the flow of the thread, but I see no problem with editing before a following post. Anyone else? |

Hello I think changing a post afterwards is great to correct any mistakes in spelling etc. If there is already a reply, every intelligent user would write a new post instead of editing the existing one in order to respond to the reply!? Just a though bye, Erik |

Ahhh, you are talking about intelligent users. Someone could post something, get a responsse, and hten change his post to make the thread sound stupid. |

Hello I think in such a case it would be easy to explain what happened so that everyone knows whats going on. Also I didn't see something like this in any forum yet (maybe I am just looking at the wrong ones). Additionally I would let posts be editable because you might make a mistake in some link or picture URL. If someone writes a post telling he can't view the picture or that a link is broken, you coul not correct this anymore. But as I said, if you want to I can implement this very fast and easily. bye, Erik |
