sometimes i see ppl on the online list, who have a monitor symbol.
If you mouseover this, you will get the information, that the person is in the chat right now.
But this information is not true, and there are other ppl in the chat who are online on BS but don't have the monitor symbol.

When I reset the irc nick in my profile, it says I'm logged.
I'm guessing whatever value stands for "empty" in the db passes the test.

there used to be a bot pushing data to bright shadows. it has not been online for a while.

Indeed, if you remove your nick from your account details the monitor will appears.
Sounds like a bugs.
